Ms. Liu Jia, CEO of Mofang Apartment lectured about rental apartment, which is favored by the younger generation. She analyzed the current situation and future perspective of the rental apartment industry in China from product design, the balance of personalization and functionality. She also introduced Yangzi, the younger brand of Mexarts Group, and Moyang, a collaborated brand of Mofang and Yangzi, dedicated to customized soft decoration for rental apartments targeting the young people.
Yoshiyuki Takashiro, a well-known hotel designer spoke about injecting new life to old buildings through renovation. He believed that as time changes, architecture needs better expression. Designers should think about how to express the building’s innate sophistication and make relevant changes.
Tasuro Sasaki, Japanese architect and Mexarts’ chief resort hotel designer thought that every design has its exclusive DNA. Whatever element you use, it’s important to pass on the exclusiveness to the consumers.
Eiji Yoshida, Chief Designer of Mexarts Design Academy took the Tokyo Louis Vuitton as an example and illustrated his opinion on how to make use of special elements and grains to impress people, in addition to space design.
